Our Local Government Scorecards are published below in PDF form for easy download, as well as the original answers.
We have undertaken this exercise to help voters identify what candidates’ views are on climate change, and hopefully improve transparency and voter turnout in local government elections. The grades are helpful to compare different candidates within a council, but we suggest you download the original answers and read them for yourselves to be fully informed.
If any candidate feels that the grades do not accurately reflect the value of their answers, we invite you to get in touch with us for a friendly chat. We are your colleagues, your neighbours and your community, and we want to ensure resilient New Zealand regions can rise to meet the challenge of climate change.
